The biggest pumpkin in Cambridge!

Have you seen this? I spotted this huge pumpkin in Cambridge Farmers’ Outlet on the corner of Regent Street and Lensfield Road. It is the biggest pumpkin they have ever had in the shop. It is about as wide as the door!

There are signs of Halloween popping up all around Cambridge with a shop in the Grafton Centre dedicated solely to all things scary and spooky and cob webs appearing in shop windows. A little further afield is Lidgate Farm in Isleham which has a pumpkin patch where children can pick their own pumpkins. I have heard the cakes are good too!

Autumn colour at Cambridge University Botanic Garden

The Cambridge University Botanic Garden looks stunning at this time of year with beautiful shades of yellow, red and copper announcing that autumn is well and truly here. We saw loads of amazing flowers as well and the children had a good run around followed by cake and hot chocolate in the fantastic Garden Cafe. The annual Apple Day is coming up on Sunday 22nd October for all things appley as well as crafts and live music. A great family day out.
